Groups

We offer a variety of groups ranging from 8 to 10 weeks. Groups can be done virtually or on-site depending on the class size and preference of the group. We require a deposit to secure your spot.

We understand that groups can be scary! But know that everyone feels similar to you. Groups are a wonderful addition to individual therapy or simply a good start. They are also a cost-effective way to gain tools!

Upcoming 2026 Groups

  • Key Details:

    • Ages 7-10 years old

    • March 16 to 20, 2026

    • 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, early drop-off available as of 8:30 AM

    • Billable to insurance using our direct billing services

    The Brave Brain Explorers Club is a fun and engaging 5-day March Break group for children ages 7-10. Children become “Explorers” and travel through different lands, each focused on an important skill: understanding feelings (Day 1: The Feeling Forest), handling worries (Day 2: Worry Mountains), building friendships (Day 3: Friendship Fields), and growing confidence (Day 4: Confidence Canyon).

    On Day 5, the group arrives at Discovery Docks, where they review what they’ve learned, celebrate their accomplishments, and pack the tools they want to take with them as they continue their journeys outside the group.

    Through art, games, movement, and mindfulness, children learn how to calm their bodies, challenge unhelpful thoughts, solve social problems, and try new things. The group is supportive, playful, and designed to help children discover their strengths and feel more prepared for real-life challenges.

  • You will learn to understand and identify your thoughts and emotions, make healthy behavioural changes, challenge your unhelpful thoughts, develop your problem-solving skills, and reduce fear and anxiety through exposure exercises. This group is for those with or without a mood disorder. Program runs weekly for 10 weeks beginning in February (specific dates to come). Secure your spot via your deposit.

  • You will learn to engage in self-compassion by learning tools from an acceptance commitment therapy lens. The goal is not to love every part of yourself but to learn to love and accept all parts of yourself (even those you see as a flaw). You will learn hands-on tools and engage in exposure activities. This is a 10 week program beginning in March (specific dates to be confirmed). Reserve your sport via your deposit.

  • This group consists of learning how to manage strong emotions such as anger. It consists of understanding this fundamental emotion and learning to acknowledge and identify signs that lead to unhealthy patterns. You will leave this group feeling empowered to not only feel these emotions (because it’s healthy!) but to utilize them in a way that promotes well-being and communication! This is a weekly 10 week program beginning in February. Secure your spot via a deposit.

Do you have difficulties controlling your emotions and your anger? Does your family believe that it is a problem? Do you want to understand the fundamentals of this emotion? This course might be for you! Learn tools to understand and manage your anger so that you can express it in a healthy way. Know that anger is a normal emotion but how we react when we feel it is what is important. This course will provide you with education while giving you real life evidence based tools. Did you know that Group therapy has been shown to be just as effective as individual therapy and it is more cost effective!

Group begins April 13th at 6:00pm. It runs every Thursday for 10 weeks.

Cost: $80/week. Deposit of $160 is required at sign up (first and last class). Email us at inquiries@holisticwellnesstherapies.ca to reserve your spot or to get more information. You can also speak to your therapist about it.

Commitment: As this is a closed group, the commitment is the full 10 weeks.

Defy your thoughts Group Therapy

You will learn how to regain control of your emotions and thoughts resulting in an increased well-being. Through an evidence based approach you will learn to not only tackle your thoughts but to increase your actions. You will also learn tools and exercises to begin loving yourself again through a compassionate lens while gaining support from group members. You will have help in remaining accountable.

$800 for 10 weeks ($80/week) starting Wednesday March 28th from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Includes workbook.
