II am a Master’s-level Registered Social Worker who works with individuals, couples, children, teens, and families, providing support, guidance, and practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. I believe therapy should feel both safe and real—grounded in evidence, yet flexible enough to meet each client exactly where they are.

My approach is highly individualized and collaborative. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to create a tailored plan for each person, couple, or family, combining clinical expertise, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic style. I work from a neuro-affirming perspective and have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism.

I have extensive experience working with couples and families, particularly in the areas of high-conflict relationships, communication breakdown, parent–child conflict, divorce and separation, post-separation contact, and reunification. I also support individuals and couples impacted by trauma, sexual assault, anxiety, depression, anger, and chronic stress.

Grounded in a family-systems framework, my work integrates evidence-based and holistic approaches. Modalities may include play therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-focused interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and reunification therapy. All treatment is strengths-based, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and neuro-affirming.

My goal is to help individuals build insight, resilience, and confidence, to support couples in strengthening connection and communication, and to help families create healthier, more balanced, and more peaceful relationships.

You’ve been through a lot. Maybe you've never told anyone your story; maybe you've only shared it with a select few. And you have heard that talking helps. But you wonder — how many times do I have to re-hash the discomfort before it releases me? How long before I can rest? You might be feeling numb, angry, sad, stuck, hopeless, scared… You may not have a clear direction, or any idea of your goals. You might not know where or how to start. Yes - We all carry our past into the future. But the weight doesn’t have to be unbearable, and you don’t have to hold it alone.

I aim to meet you where you are, shoulder some of the burdens, and walk with you for as long as you’d like the company. My approach brings together a variety of perspectives on mental health in order to focus on your unique circumstances. I choose techniques and resources based on scientific evidence, as well as professional and personal experience.

We all encounter some degree of difficulty within our lives, and sometimes we find it difficult to navigate these hard times alone. If your relationships have become unfulfilling, or you are experiencing a loss of a relationship, difficult time communicating in your relationships, disrupted sleep, reduced pleasure in previously enjoyable activities, excessive worry/concern, workplace distress, job loss/transition, finding it hard to cope with stress and pressure of daily life, or finding it challenging in adapting to new roles within your life, then allow me to help.

For children and teens, emotions can be confusing! Let alone trying to navigate the dynamics of relationships and friendships while balancing school and family. All of these things can lead to to feelings of sadness and anxiety. Having a comfortable place to talk about these feelings can help you figure out why we are feeling them in the first place! We will figure it out together.

I strive to bring my authentic self, a love of learning, and a bit of creativity to my interactions with all people. You can expect to have some serious conversations and laughs along the way. My practice is rooted in cognitive and somatic techniques - because understanding both your body, mind, and past is key for future change!

People seek psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy for many reasons; grief, anxiety, uncertainty, or patterns that repeat despite their best efforts. Sometimes it is less about something being “wrong” than about a restlessness or a questioning that refuses to go away.

My work is different from approaches that focus on symptom relief or offer quick fixes. Rather than burying your discomfort beneath another technique, we turn toward it. In our sessions, we listen closely to the spoken, the stumbles, and even the silences. By following these threads, you may find a new way of understanding your relation to your emotions, cognitions, and behaviours. The aim is not simply to feel “better,” but to create conditions for a deeper, more lasting change.

My current approach to psychotherapy is primarily informed by psychoanalysis. In the past, my clinical work has included Internal Family Systems, DBT, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I also offer EMDR services.

Your child is struggling. Maybe with big feelings, challenging behavior, anxiety, or just a sense that something isn’t quite right. As a parent, you’re doing your best, but still wondering: Are they okay? Am I doing enough? How do we move forward together?

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I work with children, teens, and families who want to feel more connected, understood, and grounded. Whether it's school stress, emotional overwhelm, conflict at home, or something harder to name, I offer a space where kids can be themselves and where parents can take a breath too. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodiverse, queer, and second-generation immigrant families, all part of my own identity as a therapist.

My approach is inclusive, neuro-affirming, authentic, and grounded in evidence-backed, scientific methods. Sometimes that means talking. Other times it means using movement, breath, play, or art. Whatever you need to feel safe, and express yourself.

If you or your family want to take a step toward feeling happier and stronger, I’d love to help. You’re not alone, so let’s figure it out together.
